I created three preliminary sketches for the client to review. The client gravitated to the logo with the silhouette of a face and with the pipe forming the 'B' in Buzzkill. It was also important to him that we capture the shape of his glasses as closely as possible. I went with a colour palette that included complementary colours, and that I felt was both academic and playful.
