This is my continued exploration into what frightens me, as I become more skilled at digital illustration. Whenever I sit around a campfire, part of me fears what might be lurking in the woods behind me. This illustration is my worst fear come to life. The white figure is a character I started drawing in university to serve as a sort of avatar for me - one that is genderless and ageless, but instead represents the part of me that's afraid.

My goal for future illustrations is to really master light reflecting on various surfaces. I love how I managed to capture the firelight on the rocks and blades of grass, but I think there is room for improvement when it comes to how the light reflected on the figure.
